Bring Me the Horizon have just dropped their brand new, highly anticipated track ‘sTraNgeRs‘!

After debuting the song at their very own Malta Weekender at the end of May, Bring Me the Horizon released the official video onto YouTube this evening (July 6). The visuals express a comforting message, telling their fans that they are not alone, despite feeling it at times. It is instantly catchy and most certainly relatable for a lot of their hardcore fanbase.

This is the first single release for the Sheffield based metal group, since ‘Die4U‘ back in September 2021. This supposedly is the debut track of their next Post Human EP!

Vocalist Oli Sykes spoke about the meaning behind the track; ‘The song came out of a long writing trip in LA, and as soon as the lyric ‘we’re just a room full of strangers’ came it took on such a deeper double meaning – how it would feel to be performing it live as that’s what it is… all strangers connecting on this mad level… and that it was like rehab…’

‘Coming out of lockdown and the pandemic, everyone is recovering from something and I’m so aware that so many people struggle daily with differing traumas, and just wanted to stress that they’re not in this alone… and we’re a community here to help each other.’

Bring Me the Horizon are set to play a handful of festivals this summer including Knotfest in Finland, Highfield Festival, Pukkelpop Festival, as well as Reading & Leeds in late August. Additionally, they are due to embark on a North American tour, starting in Brooklyn on September 24, before heading to Australia and South America at the end of the year.
