Falling in Reverse are back with another banger – this time the raw and honest ‘Voices In My Head‘.
This is the second taster to come from the Nevada post-hardcore group’s upcoming ‘Neon Zombie’ EP, which is expected to be released later this year. The track sees vocalist Ronnie Radke experiment with rap style vocals, while also playing around with theatrics in an infectious chorus.
The single appears to speak lyrically about Ronnie’s mental health and how he is struggling right now. Radke sings in the chorus; ‘The voices in my head keep telling me I’m gonna (Die) / And I don’t wanna talk about the drama, I’m trauma-(tized) / They keep tellin’ me I’m fine but we both know that’s a fuckin’ (Lie) / I’m losin’ my mind but I don’t wanna talk about it.’
Along with the official song, a music video has also been released for the track. It depicts the band playing in an ornate indoor venue, with clips being shown of Radke seemingly trying to escape his own negative thoughts.
Falling in Reverse are set to embark on a joint US tour with Papa Roach, with main support coming from Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves. Additionally, they are due to play a handful of festival shows in the next few months, such as Inkcarnation Festival and Aftershock Festival.
