Hot Water Music have just released the video for their latest single ‘Habitual‘ via YouTube.

The official music video (directed by Jesse Korman) depicts the band playing the track passionately and with a lot of emotion. The single speaks lyrically about how aggressive and unforgiving cancer is, which is instantly relatable as they have had loved ones battle with the disease themselves in the past.

Vocalist Chuck Ragan spoke about the inspiration behind the song stating; ‘Habitual is written to show the perspective of a fighter battling cancer. We’ve witnessed family and friends have their bodies taken over by disease. We’ve witnessed some of them give up quickly and lose the will to fight. We’ve also seen the other side of the human spirit where even though their life was determined to be extinguished, they rose above the inevitable to either beat the disease itself or beat the negativity it often is bound to. This song goes out to all who are fighting for their life and the loved ones who are in their corner. Never give up, never give in.’

‘Habitual’ is the fourth single to come from their brand new studio album ‘Feel The Void’, which was released on March 18, 2022 via End Hits Records.

Hot Water Music are also set to play Slam Dunk Festival this year, both in the Leeds and Hatfield venues respectively on June 3-4, as well as a one-off show at the Electric Ballroom in London with BoySetsFire on October 4.
