Rise Against have officially announced a North American tour, with support from The Used and Senses Fail!

They are set to play 23 dates in total throughout the summer, spanning all over the US. The tour starts off in Las Vegas on July 15, before hitting cities such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Dallas and New York, ceasing in Detroit on August 18.

The tour announcement comes following the release of Rise Against’s most recent album ‘Nowhere Generation’ back in the summer of last year. They have also collaborated with Idles on a remix of ‘Talking to Ourselves’, which was shared yesterday (February 28). Rise Against vocalist Tim McIlrath spoke about the pairing; ‘I’ve never thought of our songs as ‘brave’ or ‘bold,’ I think of them as just common sense. When you feel that no one is listening to you, you tend to talk louder, and when you feel no one notices you, you start doing things to get their attention. That’s what this song is about.

McIlrath also joined Awolnation to perform a cover of Midnight Oil’s classic hit ‘Beds Are Burning’; ‘I’ve known Aaron (from Awolnation) for years now and am such a big fan of this song, so I was really excited to be a part of his band’s remake of ‘Beds Are Burning’. Even today, there are those who would rather ignore the parts of our past that make us uncomfortable than confront and teach them to the next generation. Midnight Oil’s message resonates today as much as it ever did, if not even more.’

The Used’s latest work comes in the form of ‘Heartwork’ back in 2020, whereas Senses Fail are due to release their eighth studio album ‘Hell Is In Your Head’ on July 15 this year.

Tickets for all North American tour dates will be available to purchase this week, with pre-sale options available today at 10AM local time / 3PM GMT with the password: NOWHEREGENERATION. General sale tickets are on sale this Friday, March 4 at the same time. Get all tickets here!
