Loathe have just released a reimagined version of their latest track ‘Is It Really You?‘ with a guest collaboration from Sleep Token.
This version of the song was released earlier today (February 3) and contains an impressive yet haunting piano melody throughout, adding further emotion. When the memorable voice of Sleep Token’s lead vocalist Vessel kicks in, you instantly feel in touch with your emotions, making the track even more impactful and dramatic than ever before.
Loathe spoke of the collaboration stating ‘We’ve all been big fans of Sleep Token for a while now so when the track landed in our inbox it blew us away. Alongside the Teenage Wrist rendition, having the opportunity to hear our song through the artists own lens but also to release these alternate versions to the public to ingest and enjoy is a humbling experience.‘
This is the first release for Loathe since their track ‘Dimorphus Display’ late last year, with Sleep Token’s latest single ‘Fall For Me’ coming out around the same time.
Loathe are set to go out on tour around North America, starting in Detroit on April 3 before finishing in Boston on May 7. Additionally, Sleep Token are hitting the UK with Architects and Malevolence, beginning in Leeds on the 2nd May before heading off to Nottingham, Cardiff, London and Glasgow. Get your tickets here!
Both Loathe and Sleep Token are also set to play at Download Festival in June. Grab your tickets now!
