There is some very sad but inevitable news to announce regarding Slam Dunk Festival 2022.

It has been revealed earlier today (January 31) that The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are no longer on the bill for the festival.

The band have been pretty much radio silent on their social media accounts for a while now, even hinting of a split a few days ago on Instagram.

Slam Dunk Festival took to social media to issue a statement on the situation stating ‘It has now been confirmed to us that the split of the band is with immediate affect and they will not be playing at Slam Dunk Festival 22.’ They also reassured festival goers that they ‘will start working on another ska or punk band to replace them’, which ‘may not be announced for a few weeks.’

Many fans of the festival commented on the post expressing their desire for bands like Less Than Jake and Zebrahead to appear at the event as their replacement.
