Wargasm are well and truly back with their energetic brand new single ‘D.R.I.L.D.O‘.

This is the first exciting taster of the electropunk duo’s new era, being the debut single to come from their newly announced upcoming full-length compilation ‘Explicit: The Mixxxtape’, expected for release this summer via Slowplay & Republic Records.

The track appears to speak lyrically about Sam Matlock and Milkie Way’s frustration with modern life, wanting to just indulge in simple pleasures rather than cope with reality, with them both singing lyrics such as; ‘Sometimes, I just feel so much / Just got no dreams, and got no wishes / Got this like a vision, nothing turns me on / I’m a graveyard for ambition / I can’t stand this repetition / I can’t stand this repetition / Someone cut me up / the vultures the corpses (yeah, it’s sick!) / Caught in the slaughter of this 21st century torture (it’s my kink!) / I keep my hair cut to my chest so they don’t see me sweating / I sleep with one eye open / But both eyes aren’t a weapon’.

The music video for the track was released earlier today (May 20) and leaves you excited from start to finish. The video takes place in what appears to be a club style setting, with a multitude of flashing imagery keeping you intrigued. The visuals capture a room full of people that seem to have been rejected in society for being different, and this video is a way to fight back against that narrative.

Wargasm are currently on tour around North America with nu-metal giants Limp Bizkit, finishing off in Toronto, Canada on May 31. Following this exciting run, they are also set to perform sets at various festivals over the summer months, such as Download Festival, Rock For People, Reload Festival and Louder Than Life Festival.
