Waterparks have just dropped their ridiculously catchy new single ‘Self Sabotage‘, following the release of their debut Fueled By Ramen track ‘Funeral Grey‘ in May.

The new single explores themes of ‘self sabotage’, with vocalist Awsten Knight discussing the restrictions he put on himself, which therefore stopped him from being his true self in the process.

The track really comes into its own, with you really being able to gain an insight into Knight’s current mental state with lyrics such as ‘What the fuck is wrong with me?‘ Additionally, Knight’s vocal talent shines through with his impeccable high register being extremely prominent throughout the song!

Waterparks are well and truly kicking this new era off in the best way with a scheduled headline slot alongside Welsh pop-punkers Neck Deep at Sad Summer Festival. They are also set to embark on a small North American tour, starting in Albany, New York on August 30. Following this, they are hitting up cities such as Uncasville and Montreal, ceasing in Los Angeles on October 17.
